We have been retained by a Cleveland-based equipment manufacturer to assist in their search for a highly skilled and motivated Fabrication Shop Supervisor to join their management team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader in the shop to make a significant impact on our production efficiency, safety standards, and overall success.
The Supervisor will spend 70-80% of their time on the fabrication floor. The remaining 20-30% will be in the office, where you will handle tasks like estimating new projects, managing job costs, conducting interviews, and communicating with clients.

Education/Experience
Requirements for the Fabrication Shop Supervisor
- 10 to 15 years of hands-on steel fabrication and supervision experience.
- Proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG), rolling, and press brake forming.
- Experience working with large custom fabricated parts over 10,000 lbs.
- Comfortable with rigging various custom projects.
- The ability to read and comprehend complex steel fabrication CAD drawings.
- Machining skills (Bridgeport, engine lathe) are a plus.
- Exceptional supervisory and communication skills.
- Proven history of effectively supervising a group of 10 or more shop employees.
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, ERP)
