BH Solutions Group, an Executive Recruiting and Consulting firm headquartered in Akron, OH, has been retained by a leading residential and commercial lighting and electrical services company to identify a skilled professional for a hybrid Systems Administrator role.
This position is responsible for managing and optimizing the Field Service CRM system—overseeing user access, security settings, territories, workflows, data accuracy, and custom reporting. As the CRM Subject Matter Expert (SME), this individual will lead system troubleshooting, customization, and user training. In addition, this role provides Tier 1 IT support, including Microsoft 365 user and license management, resolving daily technical support requests, and coordinating with third-party vendors as needed for hardware and network issues.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities for the Systems Administrator
CRM Administration
- Configure and maintain the Field Service CRM, including user roles, security permissions, territories, workflows, and data validation rules.
- Assist users with issues related to CRM data entry—such as customer records, appointments, estimates, invoices, payments, and notes.
- Provide guidance on file uploads, media management, and accurate data flow across records.
- Support scheduling functions by creating, editing, and tracking appointments for field operations.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity; resolve missing or inaccurate information and record discrepancies.
- Generate CRM dashboards and reports related to work orders, service history, assets, and scheduling.
- Educate and train new and current users on CRM best practices, features, and processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements.
IT Help Desk & Technical Support
- Manage Microsoft 365 user accounts and licensing, including setup, termination, and access permissions.
- Respond promptly to support requests such as password resets, account lockouts, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) issues.
- Provide Tier 1 desktop support for core systems, including the Microsoft Office Suite, email configuration, and workstation troubleshooting.
- Assist in new user onboarding, ensuring proper device setup, software installation, and account provisioning.
- Coordinate with external IT service providers or vendors for escalated hardware, server, or network-related issues.
- Maintain detailed documentation of support requests, configurations, processes, and IT procedures.
Education/Experience
Requirements for the Systems Administrator
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience as a CRM Administrator and IT Help Desk Specialist.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms—Salesforce or similar systems preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data reporting and dashboards.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Understanding of information security, cybersecurity best practices, and user training.
- Ability to lead or support a small service desk team.
