Currently seeking a Human Resources Administrator who will be responsible for providing general human resources support including staffing, employee engagement, employee relations, performance management, and assist with general Human Resources administrative duties.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for the Human Resources Administrator

  • Source candidates using a wide variety of outlets, such as job postings and social media, recruit, evaluate, contact and facilitate candidate interviews with the hiring manager.
  • Performs routine task required to administer and execute human resource programs including, but not limited to onboarding, company benefit programs, and leaves.
  • Assist in performance management initiatives and performance evaluation management.
  • Implement, coordinate and support programs that improve employee relations/morale and promote a professional, inclusive workplace.
  • Research employee inquires and handle requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Compile and maintain employee information and files in a safe and secure manner.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices, reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance, including managing the tracking processes and compliance related to FMLA, EEO, and ADA.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Payroll responsibilities as assigned.
  • Performs other duties and projects as required.

Education/Experience

Requirements for the Human Resources Administrator

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • At least three years of Human Resources experience required, manufacturing environment preferred.
  • SHRM-CP a plus.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrates integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when managing sensitive employee information.
  • The ability to build strong relationships and establish strong interpersonal connections at all levels of the organization.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing tasks and demands with minimal supervision.
  • Strong PC skills with Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
